Location indicator
The Location indicator is used on many ads, like real estate, employment and garage sales, to help provide an important indication as to the location. The location in these instances may be of considerable importance based on where someone wants to live, work or where area they want to check for garage sales.
Indicators like this have often been used for real estate listings since location is often a deciding factor whether buying or simply renting a property. Unfortunately, these systems often evolve over time into cryptic code that only makes sense when used with a coded map at your side or sound more like a game of Battleship or Bingo.
Our Location indicator uses basic directions and simply relate to the city or town where you are located. This way, if you are on the northwest side of your town, you mark NW. If you are looking for an apartment on the south side of the city and want a job on the east side town, you can search the Home category using S for Location and then check the Work category using E for Location. Best of all, you no longer have to explain why your home is in the W6 area but your neighbor is in W13 and lives across the street from your office, which you walk to in the W2 area.
