Browsing Ads
Searching returns no or fewer results than I think it should
When you search, it looks for ads that match all of the criteria that you are searching for. This can be very helpful at eliminating ads, but can also eliminate ads you are interested in if you aren't careful.
We recommend starting out by only searching based on a small number of details, and then finetuning that if you are getting too many results, or results that don't meet your needs. Perhaps start by selecting the category, price range, zip code and one or two important or critical category specific details. You must remember that ads will only be returned if they match what you are seeking. For example, if you are looking for a new apartment and select "no pets" and "cats allowed," these may work against each other as the only ads that will match are ads that have both of these selected, rather than ads that have no pets selected as well as ads that have cats allowed.
