Preview period

The Preview Period allows members to see items that will be available for auction, but are currently not open for bidding. Sellers are allowed to select a future date and time that they wish for their auction to begin, otherwise all auctions begin after the listing process is completed.

Setting a future start time can be especially useful for anyone placing a number of items up for auction that they would like to all start or end at a certain time, or if you won't be able to list your auction at the time that you would like it to start.

Preview is also very useful for groups or charities that are using the auction as a fund raiser event. This way you can load all of your auction items over time and have them all begin and end at the same time if you wish.
