Register for membership

Registering allows you to utilize some of the built in functions that wayMadAds provides for both sellers and buyers. Registration also provides added security. Just like traditional ads or going to the store, it is impossible to provide a completely safe environment, but requiring registration can be an immediate deterent for many scammers.

By registering, sellers have more control over their personal information. You can use our message routing rather than posting your email in your ad, which could be picked up by spambots. You can also elect whether you want to show your phone numbers or not. This allows you to utilize a system like a blind-box ad in traditional ads with no additional expense.

As a seller, even if you choose to include your phone numbers, you know that they'll only be visible to other members. Again, this provides an added measure of security. In the instance that someone joins wayMadAds and tries to use the system to spam other members, you can report this abuse to use so that we can ban their membership. Unlike traditional ads, if in the rare but very unfortunate circumstance where someone tries to scam another member, we will actually have some information that could be turned over to the authorities to assist them in your case.
