Non-profits may want to use wayMadAds as an additional fund development opportunity. Online charity auctions have become a popular method for organizations to fund raise. Local merchants may find this an easier way to help charities by donating items, which allows them to donate higher value than a pure cash donation as well as gaining additional marketing, goodwill and possibly new customers. Potential buyers benefit as they can help a cause or organization they are interested in and possible pickup items of interest at a savings. Often times the merchant will maintain the item and the recipient will receive a certificate to provide the merchant to pickup the item. A great benefit to this type of fund development is that it can be done as an event, in connection to an event or on an ongoing basis.

As a potential volunteer, trying to volunteer can be intimidating and challenging... where to go, who needs help, what is needed, what kind of commitment is required, who do I talk to and what is the procedure for volunteering.

wayMadAds hopes to help bring organizations and volunteers together by providing a convenient and central location. And since it is free to post, organizations have nothing to lose. Organizations may gain additional visibility and attract volunteers who were using wayMadAds to sell or find items, looking for housing or browsing for a new job. Volunteers don't have to seek out different websites and try to find opportunities or what is needed.
