Feedback score and rating

The Feedback system is available for members to rate each other after an auction transaction. At this time, it is only available as a measure for auctions.

The feedack rating system allows the winning bidder and seller of an auction to rate each other on how well the seller represented and delivered his/her product, and the timeliness of the buyer's payment.

At the conclusion of the auction, the winning bidder and seller can log in to their My Mad Account Manager page, and provide feedback on the transaction, by rating the transaction as either:

+1 point for positive
  0 points for neutral
-1 point for negative

Points are automatically totalled and a star icon will appear next to the seller's username indicating their status as a user of the site. A different color star will appear each time the seller passes to a different feedback rating level as indicated by the following chart:

1 to 49 points
50 to 99 points
100 to 249 points
250 to 499 points
500 to 999 points
1,000 to 2,499 points
2,500 to 4,999 points
5,000 to 7,499 points
7,500 to 9,999 points
10,000 points and higher

In addition to leaving a feedback rating, the winning bidder and seller can also leave a comment regarding the transaction. All comments are viewable by all site users.

The feedback rating is intended to help future buyers and sellers feel confident in conducting business with a particular member.
